Tessie has been Megan's best friend right from her very first day with us. Megan doesn't play very often with other dogs, except for Tessie. She has always played with her. One day, when Megan was barely 3 months old, Tessie chased her in the garden with the result that Megan jumped right through a window. She cut herself just over the left eye and had to be checked by a vet. The cut was pretty deep, so she had several stitches. What a start in a small pup's life!
Megan is my dog, and we trained obedience together when she was younger and a little agility. Once sheep entered her life, however, we were both hooked. As we do not have our own sheep, we have travelled many a weekend and holiday for several years to Jette and Stig in Jutland to train there. Megan has proven a good working dog for a beginner. She has enough eye to slow her down a bit and wouldn't dream of hurting the sheep in anyway.
Things are sometimes a little hard on Megan, I'm afraid. She is terrified of sounds, such as thunder, fireworks, loud music, etc. For many years we have spent part of our X-mas holidays and New Year's Eve at Kennel Solfari's in Jutland to get away from all the fireworks in Herlev. In her later years, Megan suffers from allergy, but is otherwise doing well.
You find Megan's parents to the right.
